For a long time my artistic work was primarily dedicated to the representation of femininity as a transcendent presence. Over time I moved towards a more neutral/genderless expression in favour of hoping to capture grave feelings of universality. I find interest in the hybrid formation of primordial, celestial and decidedly human bodies which I mean to combine in a purposefully naive way. The thought of unfathomable concepts mirroring the mundane rot of “ordinary” life brings me great comfort. In the same way the somewhat magical, colourful style I follow is born from a desire to attach a sort of optimistic glimmer to these bitter sweet expressions.
